Gus in TN's story
Hello! My name is Gus. My foster mom tells me that I am all ready to be adopted and I should tell the world about myself. Otherwise no one will know that I am ready for my forever home. So here goes....I'm pretty rambunctious and like to play - I can do some serious playing! Running and jumping and chasing - I can do it all. I especially like to play with the red dot - as hard as I try I just can't catch it though - maybe one day. I also like to see what you're up to in the kitchen and the refrigerator looks like a big box of yums. One of my favorite snacks is peanut butter, but not the kind with the stuff that's bad for cats - my mom says only natural peanut butter for me! Sometimes when I really want to get into the kitchen ( I can smell things cooking in there!) the door is closed and I just hav
e to stand on the other side and cry until someone opens up and I can see if there are any morsels left in the sink. I know that my mom is trying to teach me some manners by spraying me with the dreaded water - but some things just smell so delish. I'm getting better though. I know that trying to get on the table when the humans are eating is a no-no.
I have a nice catio here that I can go out and get some air and sunshine. I really enjoy watching the birds and bugs and watching leaves fall from the trees. I hope that my new forever family has a spot like that for me. I also enjoy my foster brothers and sisters - we like to play and nap together. We didn't get along at first, I was a little scared being in a new place and all. But in no time we were like family! Although at dinner time I still like to have a bowl of kibble all to my self and can't help but growl a little if someone wants me to share.
When I'm all tired from playing and sunning and eating I like to curl up on my foster mom's lap and take a little nap. I love to cuddle and have my whole face petted. I do a very nice purr for a little guy!
I know you'll want to know about my medical history - so here goes. I have been neutered and am up to date on my vaccines (Fvrcp, Feline Leukemia and Rabies). I have tested negative for Feline Leukemia. I also have a microchip in case I get lost. I am about 6 months old and weigh about 6 pounds.
I sure hope that someone out there thinks that I will be the perfect forever kitty for them! If you think you can handle all that is Gus - please send an email to my mom at tndogsandcatsforyou@gmail.com.
