Macey - 8 lbs. - Playful and Fun!! Chihuahua Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Scranton, Pennsylvania

This sweet little girl is Macey and she will be available for adoption very soon! She was found as a stray and wound up at a high kill shelter. We provided rescue for her and now, she needs a forever home! Macey will be available for adoption, or foster, on Sunday March 18th and we are taking applications for her now. She weighs just 8 pounds and we are told that is just about as big as she is going to get. Macey is listed as a Chihuahua mix. Little Macey is estimated to be about 1 year old. Her foster mom in SC says that this little doll baby can be shy and timid at first. But, after a short while she begins to warm up and her playful personality shines. She loves toys and she likes to retrieve them. Macey gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, both large and small. She does like to chase and torment the cats but the cats are bigger than she is. She is a bit of a "drama queen" and squealed when she received her vaccinations. Macey is doing pretty good with her house training but she still does not give a signal when she has to go out. Numerous outings are recommended for her until she figures out her new home's schedule. Macey also prefers to go potty in her fenced-in backyard as opposed to on a walk. So a home with a fenced-in area is recommended for her. She is spayed, micro-chipped and current with vaccines.
